Support When You Need It

Uncover your inner self through counseling

My practice: The basis of my psychological philosophy is JUngain, based on the insights of Carl Gustav Jung, an 19th & 20th century contemporary of Freud. Also known as depth or transpersonal psychology, the goal of therapy is to find ways to incorporate the whole self into the healing process. Jung worked with dreams, and I find them to be a useful tool to access the unconscious mind & what it wants to tell us. Dreams work with symbols in a very specific & personal way.

Somatic therapy is a way of helping you to get in touch with the emotions carried in your body. When we get "out of our minds" , we may find it easier to hear our bodies & souls speaking to us.

Art therapy allows your unconscious mind to communicate in symbols; it can both communicate the ineffable & give us information that may contradict the thoughts we consciously think.

These tools help you to find your own inner voice, your self that is not influenced by culture of family norms, or by experiences that have influenced you to be afraid or angry.

If you hear a voice within you say, ‘you cannot paint.’ Then, by all means paint and that voice will be silenced.
